UPDATE: Merriweather Road has been reopened following crash involving cement truck

Update, 9:39 p.m.: The Clarksville Police Department has cleared the area, and the roadway is back open.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A crash involving two vehicles and a cement truck has completely shut down Merriweather Rd. as the Clarksville Police Department clears the scene.

The crash occurred around 7:11 a.m. and police have asked motorists to find an alternate route until further notice.

For those involved in the crash, the status of their injuries is unknown, but they do not appear to be life threatening, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.
