CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The results are in: Kim McMillan will remain Mayor of the City of Clarksville.

McMillan was reelected with 46.87% of the vote. Bill Summers pulled in 27.14% and Jeff Burkhart trailed him at 25.79%.

The following candidates were elected to the Clarksville City Council:

Ward 1: Richard Garrett
Ward 2: Deanna McLaughlin
Ward 6: Wanda Smith
Ward 7: Geno Grubbs
Ward 10: Mike Alexander
Ward 11: Bill Powers

Clarksville voters have chosen to allow the sale of wine in grocery stores by a landslide with 72% of the vote in favor of the change, which will go into effect in July of 2016.

In Hopkinsville, Republican Carter Hendricks won the race for Mayor.
