CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Lanier Lawn and Landscaping congratulates our Athletes of the Week, the Montgomery Central High School Baseball Team for winning the District 11 AA Championship. It is the third championship in the last four years for the Indians.
The team, led by Head Coach Todd Dunn, finished with a 22-14 record for the season before advancing to the regionals. They defeated Creek Wood High School 17-14, Wednesday, May 6 in the District 11 AA tournament.
The 2015 team is made up of Seniors Devin Prewitt, Clayton Walker, T.J. Sauers, Logan Wallace, Zach Slay, and Zach Norfleet. Juniors are Peyton Bone, Peyton Delvendahl, Gavin Bellar, Gage Sherlock, Bryce Devers, Ethan Peterson and Austin Lane.
Sophomore players include Bill Hamilton, Bryce Clark, Kyle Workman, Lane Coulter, and Taylor Weaver. The Freshmen are Ben Sleigh, Madison Murphy, Kolby Baldwin, Logan McVoy and Sabastain Dean. Katherine Fyke and Shelby Thorton are the team’s managers.
