CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bowers presented the Mayor’s Volunteer Trophy to the JROTC class at Northeast High School Monday, May 19.
High school students across the county competed from each school to see who could have the most volunteers and accumulate the most volunteer hours during the Rivers and Spires Festival.
Northeast won with 97 hours of time donated by 31 students and the Middle College will share the trophy due to their 100% student participation. Northwest receives honorable mention for their great effort. The trophy will be an annual rotating trophy to mark student volunteerism during the festival.
We appreciate all the high schools for participating and thank each student for giving of their time to the festival and Montgomery County.
