Marie Jane Hines, age 77 and formerly of Clarksville, passed away on August 8, 2021, in Bonne Terre, Mo.
She was born in Fisher, Ark. on October 29, 1943. Marie was a great mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, reading, going to yard sales, gardening and playing bingo.
Marie is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Billy Joe Hines; father, Elton Barnes; her grandmother, who raised her, Nora Barnes; and brothers, Thomas Barnes and Sammy Vicchio.
She is survived by her sister, Darlene Clem; children, Bill Hines, Jr., Robert Hines, Tommy (Pam) Hines, Jimmy Hines and Vickie Hines; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, Aug. 13 at 1 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home, and burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Erin, Tenn.
