CLARKSVILLE, TN − Manna Cafe Ministries, a faith-based organization committed to serving families struggling with food insecurity in Montgomery and Stewart Counties, will hold its annual fundraiser the Golden Gala on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.

This year’s event presented by F&M Bank will feature an old Hollywood theme and guests will be treated to a walk down the red carpet, a delicious dinner prepared by Manna Cafe Chef Maxwell and decadent desserts by Miller’s Confections. Attendees may even see some “stars” at the event. Live entertainment will be provided by the popular band Full Circle. The evening will culminate with a live auction of chairs painted by local artists, quilts crafted with love, and special items including a three-night cabin getaway.

Manna Cafe will also announce an exciting new initiative aimed at enhancing their food distribution program.

In the words of Vicki York, the CEO of Manna Cafe Ministries, “This exciting new initiative will provide an inviting, streamlined approach to our food distribution program.”

“The benefits will include a more personal experience, promote dignity for our guests, and reduce food waste,” York elaborates. Manna Cafe in an effort to constantly evolve to meet the growing needs in the community believes this new approach will better serve those in need.

Tickets for the gala are $75 per person. There are also sponsorship opportunities available. Tickets are available at MannaCafeMinistries.com/golden gala. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., dinner is at 7:00 p.m., and the live auction begins at 8:00 p.m.
