CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A man was shot during an attempted robbery on Sunday, June 14 when a group of men tried to rob him.
At approximately 4:30 p.m., a man reported to police that he was walking in the 3400 block of Cainlo Drive when he was approached by three to four men who attempted to rob him.
During the incident, the victim was shot and was able to run away to a nearby business where the clerk called 911.
The victim was transported to the hospital.
His condition is unknown at this time.
Clarksville Police continue to investigate the case.
