CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Fort Campbell Soldier died this weekend, the victim of a motorcycle crash on Interstate 24 in Clarksville.

Lee Adams, Jr., 27, was travelling Westbound on a Kawasaki motorcycle on I-24 Sunday morning at approximately 12:30 in the morning when his motorcycle came into contact with another vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 2013 Land Rover, was not injured.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol report, the motorcycle was travelling in between two lanes on I-24 at the 3.6 mile marker. The motorcycle then hit the Land Rover, causing it to go airborne, landing 230 feet from the initial point of impact.

Adams was wearing a helmet.
