Malcolm Benny Arrington, age 80, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016, at his residence.

Malcolm was born November 9, 1935, in Dallas, TX, to the late Charles Kitchen Arrington and Martha Connell Arrington. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jim Arrington.

Mr. Arrington served in Vietnam during his time in the US Air Force and retired as a master sergeant. He also worked for the Department of the Army as an air traffic controller, for a combined 43 years of service to his country.

Funeral service will be Monday, May 9, at 6:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Visitation will be Monday, May 9, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. Interment will be Thursday, May 12, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, in Hopkinsville.

Malcolm is survived by his wife, Frankie Hudgens Arrington; two sons, David Arrington and Stephen (Judy) Arrington, both of Clarksville; two daughters, Janice (Keith) Smith of Brandenburg, KY and Melissa Arrington of Clarksville; nine grandchildren, Lana, Beth, Matthew, Shannon, Josh, Tyler, Ashley, Chelsea, and Zach; and twelve great grandchildren.
