Mr. Lyle ‘Ike’ Eugene Thomas, age 94 of Clarksville, TN, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020, at his home. He was born May 17, 1926, to the late Russell and Laura Edna Bush Thomas. He worked as a ferry operator and also retired from TVA after 20 years of working. Mr. Thomas was a US Army Veteran serving in WWII.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Thelma Mae Thomas. He is survived by his sons, James Thomas, Indian Mound, Robert Thomas, Clarksville, daughters, Jewel Marie Johnson, and Carol Rorie both of Indian Mound, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Thomas was laid to rest at Dunbar Chapel Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN.
