FORT CAMPBELL, KY – A student from Campbell Crossing has been awarded a BlueStar Scholarship through Centinel Public Partnerships (Centinel)’s nonprofit arm, the Centinel Community Fund (CCF), helping support his pursuit of higher education.
Andrew Doyle was among 31 students selected to receive scholarships this year. Doyle was awarded $5,000, with this year’s recipients receiving a collective total of $155,000 through the BlueStar Scholarships program.
Doyle, a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is majoring in business with a finance emphasis. The No. 1 selection of applications from 2026, Doyle is excited to work hard and take advantage of higher education with the support from the scholarship. In high school, he worked full time over the summer as a maintenance worker for IHG® Hotels & Resorts and interned for the Army’s Morale, Welfare & Recreation (MWR).

The 2026 BlueStar Scholarship recipients represent military communities across the country, including Campbell Crossing. For Doyle, the scholarship provides recognition and support as he takes the next step toward his academic and professional goals.
Established in 2012, the BlueStar Scholarships program supports dependent children of active-duty and retired military members as they pursue higher education. To date, the program has awarded more than $1.8 million in scholarships to students across the military community and celebrated 48 program graduates.
