CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Branch #5582 of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has announced the dates for its political forums for election year 2014.
All candidates are encouraged to come and partake in these forums. Candidates who are running unopposed will be allowed to make public statements once candidates running for office have concluded their presentations. Forum dates are as follows:
April 24, 2014 County Sheriff/Assessor of Property/ Trustee/Juvenile Court Judge
*Other candidates will be scheduled in the near future.
Meetings are free and open to the public. Citizens throughout Montgomery County are encouraged to evaluate the views of candidates to assist help make choices at the polls.
All meetings will begin at 06:00 p.m. at the Lettie M. Parker- Kendall Community Center located at 209 Oak Street.
