Lillian Mathys, 77, of Clarksville, TN, died on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
She was born on May 21, 1936 in Manchester, England to the late John Platt and Lillian Ward Platt.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Entombment will be held in Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 3-7 p.m. and Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Lillian is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert Mathys of Clarksville, TN; three sons, David Greenup of Illinois, Howard Greenup of Clarksville, TN, and Michael Mathys of Adams, TN; daughter, Diane (Dennis) Greenup Williams of Clarksville, TN; one brother; and three grandchildren, Katie Greenup, Erick Greenup, and James Michael Greenup.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
