CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Clarksville Rotary Club will welcome longtime Middle Tennessee meteorologist and community leader Lelan Statom as its guest speaker on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

Statom, widely known for his decades of work forecasting weather across Middle Tennessee, will share insights from his career, including how weather patterns in the region have changed over the years and what those shifts mean for local communities. His presentation will touch on severe weather trends, preparedness, and the importance of staying informed as conditions continue to evolve.

In addition to his work in broadcasting, Statom is recognized for his strong commitment to community service, youth mentorship, and civic engagement throughout the region.

The Clarksville Rotary Club, part of Rotary International, is dedicated to serving the community through local and global service projects focused on education, youth, and community well-being.
