CLARKSVILLE, TN – Leadership Clarksville, entering its 36th year of connecting and empowering leaders in the community, has chosen its newest class.
The program is led by Judge Joel Wallace as president; Betty Burchett, vice president; and O’Neal Wiggins, secretary-treasurer. Yolonda M. Williams is executive director, overseeing the day-to-day operations. Williams is excited for her inaugural class and says, “Together, we shall turn challenges into opportunities, doubts into breakthroughs, and inspire a legacy that echoes in the realms of progress. The future is ours to shape, and I am thrilled to walk hand in hand with each of you as we navigate towards greatness.”
Thirty-six members will officially begin their year with an orientation retreat in Nashville on Sept. 28-29, chaired by Geoff Livingston (’08) with Cumberland Bank and Trust, and Charlie Koon (’08) with F&M Bank. Participants bond with each other through interpretation of the Myers/Briggs test, physical exercises using customized corporate team building activities given at Adventureworks in Kingston Springs, and during socialization.
The class meets for a full day on the second Thursday each month, graduating in May 2024.
President Wallace says, “I would like to encourage each of you to utilize your experience, skills, and expertise to empower you and your classmates on this journey as you work to make Clarksville a better place.”
