The Second Annual King of the Cumberland Fishing Tournament was held Sunday, May 5 after being postponed due to weather. This tournament hosted at the Clarksville Marina included three divisions: Traditional Bass, Catfish, and Kayak Bass.

Launch started at 6:00AM with weigh-in staggered for each division from 2:30-4:00PM.

An impressive weigh-in started with the Traditional Bass group. Having a five bass limit and three catfish limit, each fisherman or team had the opportunity to compete for heaviest weigh-in and biggest fish weigh-in. Shannon Moates and Blake Lehman won this year’s Big Fish – Traditional Bass Division with 5.18 lbs. Weighing in at a remarkable 64.25 lbs, Stephen Terry and Robert Scott won the Big Fish – Catfish Divison. Kayak Bass, due to limiting live well storage, measure their catch on the river and release back into the wild. With the help of Clarksville Area Kayak Fishing Group, the winner of Big Fish – Kayak Bass was Marshall Abbott measuring in at 52.75 inches.
