CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Kenwood High senior forward Zy’Kerion Hinton has been named Clarksville Now Player of the Week following his performance in the Knights’ undefeated week, picking up two wins against cross-town rivals Northwest High and Northeast High.

“Zy(‘Kerion) is a big-time scorer for us off the bench,” said Knights head coach Chase Cronin. “His seasonal average doesn’t show how impactful he is, but obviously when you have a guy that scores double digits off the bench during district play, it’s a big game changer. … He truly deserves it for his efforts last week.”

“This award means a lot to me,” said Hinton. “I’ve worked hard and sacrificed a lot of long nights in order to improve and help winning. This helps validate those sacrifices for me.”
