Kenneth Harry Mann, age 88, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center.
Kenneth was born in St. Paul, MN, to the late Robert Mann and Anna Lendway Mann. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Mann; and two brothers, Robert and Howie Mann.
Mr. Mann was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served 26 years. He was also a merchant marine during World War II.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with VFW Chaplain Chuck Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7 and from noon until the hour of service on Thursday, January 8 at the funeral home.
Kenneth is survived by his nephew, whom he loved as a son, Dennis (Gloria) Weatherholtz of Clarksville; one brother, Gene (Doris) Mann of Appleton, WI; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Roger Duprey, Pete Shearron, Paul Junkman, Robert Holt, Gary King, and Jerry Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the VFW Post 4895.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post 4895, 1701 Haynes Street, Clarksville, TN 37043.
