OAK GROVE, Ky. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The annual Spring into Summer Festival announced country star Josh Turner will headline the 2019 festival in Oak Grove.
The two day festival is held Memorial Day Weekend at the Viceroy Performing Arts Center at 101 Walter Garrett Lane, just off I-24.
The announcement was made Monday on The Fletch & Jai Show on Beaver 100.3.
All events at the festival are free, including midway rides, stage shows, children’s activities and live music.
This festival has been awarded as the one of the top three festivals in both the southeast region and worldwide.
Turner, shot to fame in 2003 with his debut single “Long Black Train,” and was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2007.

Subsequent hits include “Your Man,” ”Why Don’t We Just Dance,” and “Time Is Love.”
He recently released a gospel album titled I Serve a Savior.
Josh Turner will perform a free concert at Spring Into Summer, Saturday, May 25 at 7:00 pm.

To kick things off prior to Josh Turner, the Renegade Rally with Branscombe Richmond and the all-star band will perform from 4-6 p.m.on Saturday, May 25, 2019. Keep an eye out for the list of celebrity guest appearances.

Saturday will feature an extended parachute jump show before the concert featuring Josh Turner, and a spectacular fireworks show will close out Saturday night’s festival.
ABOUT SPRING INTO SUMMER:
The 12th Annual Spring into Summer Festival Salutes Ft. Campbell will take place May 25 & 26, 2019. Activities will run Saturday May 25th from 12pm-9pm and Sunday May 26th from 12pm-6pm.
Both days of the festival will include new and exciting activities. Southern Kentucky Film Commission is hosting a free drawing for a 2 one week-long stay at a resort in Hawaii. This year Flippenout Productions, a one-of-a-kind extreme trampoline show, will feature acrobats performing incredible stunts in the air and off a transparent wall. A zipline has been added to this year’s festival along with a motorcycle and car show.
Back again are the free carnival rides provided by Casey’s Rides to include a brand-new gondola Ferris Wheel. There will be a balloon artist giving out free balloons, caricature drawings, and more.
Active Duty Military will be able to enter for a free basket of fun and exciting prizes. Past baskets have included everything from gift cards, to TVs, to furniture! The concert and all other activities at the Spring into Summer Festival Salutes Fort Campbell are free and open to the public.
