CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The third new business that makes up Shelby’s Trio, Joe’s Garage, opened its doors on Monday after a ribbon cutting with the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Joe’s Garage, Trattoria di Cat, and Skyline 500 Bar are distinct eateries, each on a different floor. At Joe’s Garage, it’s all about Americana.

“We’ve got great options for the kids, and we have eight different types of burgers,” Project Manager for Shelby’s Trio Sara Golden said of Joe’s Garage. “We’ve got Philly cheesesteaks, we’ve got fish and chips. So, we’ve got kind of a variety.”

Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts and Montgomery County Mayor Wes Golden attended the ribbon cutting and praised Joe and Cathi Maynard for their investments and support of the community and Austin Peay State University. U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn’s office presented a certificate to Cathi Maynard, naming her the latest Tennessee Colonel.

Also, on hand for the celebration of Shelby’s Trio was the young man the building was named after, 14-year-old Shelby Maynard, the grandson of Joe and Cathi Maynard. Shelby said he never expected something like this.

Joe’s Garage is the first floor of Shelby’s Trio at 304 N. Second St. Just look for the two classic cars, both Shelby Mustangs, in the window at the corner of College and Second Streets. It’s open seven days a week, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. on Friday & Saturday.
