Jerry Landon Anderson, of Springfield, TN, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the age of 91.
Jerry was born on December 14, 1932, to the late Isaac and Jewell Anderson. In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his daughter, Danita, two brothers and one sister.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 68 years, Kathleen; son, David (Mary Anne) Anderson; daughter, April Dawn Anderson; grandchildren, Caroline Averitt, Jay (Catherine) Averitt, Emily (Chris) Dial, Ben (Michelle) Anderson, Sarah Beth Anderson, and Ali Howard; and great grandchildren, Ruth Dial, Rowan Dial, Sally Averitt, George Averitt, and one on the way.
Jerry was a Minister for Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a Junior High Art teacher at Richview and Ringold in Clarksville and in Georgia.
A visitation will take place at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, on Thursday, October 17, 2024. A private graveside service will take place at Walker’s Cemetery.
