HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Jennie Stuart Medical Center is accepting applications for the Henry R. Bell, MD, Scholarship Fund, which will award two $2,000 scholarships to high school seniors in Christian and Todd counties who are planning careers in the healthcare field.

Applications are available online at jsmc.org, and must be received by April 8, 2014. Winners will be notified by mail.

The Bell Scholarship Fund awards the scholarships based on motivation and financial needs. The fund was established jointly by the Medical Staff and JSMC Board of Trustees.

Dr. Bell was a family practice physician at JSMC for a number of years, and also founded Bell Clinic in Elkton, Ky.
