SSG (Ret) Javier Anton Allen, age 59, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023, while at his home in Clarksville.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the Chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Modesto Martinez officiating. He will be laid to rest with U.S. Army Honors at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Javier’s family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 18 and again from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday, July 19 at the funeral home.

Javier entered this life on October 14, 1963, in St. Clair County, Illinois, son to the late Ezra Chink Allen and Ruth Morrisene Allen. As a young man, Javier entered active-duty service with the U.S. Army. During his military career, Javier performed in combat operations as an Intelligence Analyst during the Global War on Terrorism. Following his retirement, he went on to have a career as a Trooper with the Tennessee Highway Patrol up until his recent retirement. Javier enjoyed life and had a special fondness for St. Louis Cardinals baseball, golf, football, and music. Additionally, he loved food and fellowship with friends.

Survivors include his wife, Abigail Echeandia Rivera, sons, Jerell A. Allen, Darian J. Allen, Javier I. Allen, and Adam J. Allen; siblings, Joris Allen and Chandra Allen; close friends Nate, Paul, Luis, and Kerry; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
