Leonard passed away on Sunday, February 04, 2018 at Diversicare of Dover.
He was born on June 26, 1938 in Woodlawn, TN to Willie and Mary Denton. He enjoyed farming.
Memorial service for James Leonard Denton, age 79 of Woodlawn, will be Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Louise Phillips.
He is survived by his wife, Ova Denton, children; Patty (Eddie) Fulton, Barbie (Jackie) Travis, and Johnny Gray, brother, Raymond (Peggy) Denton, and sister, Marie (Red) Phillips.
