Mr. James Edward Cottrell, age 71 of Dover, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born July 25, 1949, in Clarksville, TN son of William Lewis and Laura Bryant Cottrell. Mr. Cottrell had an Associate Degree in psychology. He retired from General Motors Cadillac Plant after 39 years, where he worked as a lab technician.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Cottrell. James is survived by his loving mother, Laura Ruth Bryant Cottrell, Dover, TN, brother, Leo Cottrell (Donna), Dover, TN, sister, Vicki Cottrell, Dover, TN, and aunt, Ann Jefferson, Clarksville, TN.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 31, 2020, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at the Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Dover, TN, with Bro. Cayce Stapp officiating.
