CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Traffic between here and Nashville will be tied up nightly over the next several days, and drivers should be ready for delays and lane closures.
From April 18-24, crews will continue resurfacing Interstate 24 from west of Trough Springs Road (just east of Exit 11) to the Robertson County line, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation. Crews will work nightly, from 8 p.m.-5 a.m., and there will be alternating closures of the eastbound and westbound lanes for milling and paving activities.
While several potholes have been repaired in recent months, this is a more extensive milling and repaving project.
Additionally, crews are installing flat-sheet signs and footers. To do this, they will have temporary left lane closures from 8 p.m.-6 a.m. nightly eastbound from mile marker 9-42 and westbound from mile marker 42-7.
