MIDDLE TENNESSEE – The same armed robber may have struck five businesses along the Interstate 24 corridor from Christian County, Kentucky to Cheatham County over the weekend.
According to a news release, the first robbery reportedly occurred at 10:38 p.m. Saturday, July 25 at the Tylertown gas station near Exit 1. A $10 bill and a $100 bill were recovered a few hundred feet from the business.

About four hours later, a gas station at Exit 11 was robbed.
A Christian County, Kentucky business near the interstate was also robbed Sunday at 8:50 p.m.
Less than two hours later, a gas station on Rossview Road near Exit 8 was hit at 10:25 p.m. About an hour after that, a Cheatham County business was robbed at 11:19 p.m.
The suspect, dubbed by police as the “I-24 Bandit” is described as a black male armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, according to police. The clothing description varies, but a black mask or stocking cap was worn in each of the robberies.
