CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Hundreds gathered at Rotary Park on Saturday to enjoy live hummingbird banding demonstrations, arts and crafts, face painting, and pollinator garden tours.

Various booths and vendors were set up, including Southeastern Avian Research, Warioto Audubon Chapter, Montgomery County Master Gardeners Association, TN Trails Association, TN Department of Transportation Environmental Division, Clarksville Montgomery County Beekeepers Association, Wade Bourne Nature Center, BeeAttitudes Apiary, Healthy Yards Program, TN Environmental Council, Beachaven Garden Club, Monster Dogs, Kona Ice, and Snapdragon Wagon.

Several presentations were made, including Michelle Rogers Healthy Yards Program and Pollinator, Clarksville Montgomery County Beekeepers Association and Cyndi Routledge’s “Hummingbirds,” to teach attendees all about these flying jewels.
