NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Heat Advisory through Saturday.
Heat index values will range from 105 to 107 through Saturday. You’re advised to stay out of the heat as much as you can especially during peak afternoon hours.
Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
Anyone who has to be outdoors this weekend is urged to stay hydrated, wear comfortable clothing, and use sunscreen.
Hot temperatures are dangerous for children and pets. It is against the law to leave them unattended in vehicles.
