CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – With highs in the upper 90s and heat index values reaching as high as 108, a Heat Advisory has been issued for Montgomery and surrounding counties this week.

The advisory from the National Weather Service is in effect from 11 a.m. Tuesday to 8 p.m. Wednesday. “Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors,” the NWS said.

Overnight temperatures will remain warm, with lows in the lower to mid-70s and mostly clear skies.
