CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – With temperatures expected in the mid-90s on Saturday and a heat index up to 107, a Heat Advisory has been issued for Saturday from noon to 7 p.m. for Montgomery and nearby counties.

“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” the National Weather Service said. “Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.”

Highs will remain in the mid-90s well into next week, so expect more heat alerts each day.
