CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – With high temperatures in the mid-90s all weekend, and a heat index up to 103, a Heat Advisory is in effect through Sunday at 7 p.m. for Montgomery County and counties to our west.

“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” the National Weather Service said. “Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.”

Highs in the mid-90s will continue to rise all week, so expect more heat alerts each day.
