CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Govs Head Football Coach Kirby Cannon and Lady Govs Volleyball Coach Taylor Mott join host Brian Rives on “Inside Austin Peay” live from Buffalo Wild Wings in Clarksville.
This past Sunday featured an inner-squad scrimmage for the Lady Govs Volleyball team, in anticipation of their season opener this Friday afternoon against Ohio, as part of the Purdue Mortar Board Tournament.
“Coach Mott has a team that will count on some of its younger members to contribute early,” said Rives. “I want to hear from her if she thinks they are ready to compete, and win, at the collegiate level.”
Coach Kirby Cannon will provide insights into the Govs football team’s 91-play scrimmage Saturday, that revealed to Governors fans that this team is coming together nicely.
“This team still has some unanswered questions at certain positions. I want to hear from Coach if any of those questions have been answered,” Rives said.
“Inside Austin Peay” is broadcast at 5 p.m., Tuesdays on ESPN Clarksville 100.7 FM/540 AM.
The show is open to the public free and originates from Buffalo Wild Wings at 110 South Hampton Place off Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
It’s the new home for the weekly radio show talking all things Austin Peay athletics, each Tuesday throughout the 2015-16 academic year.
