CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Furniture Connection of Clarksville held a ground breaking ceremony Monday, September 23, on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard behind Ashley Home Store, at what will be their second Clarksville location.

According to Dave Berggren, owner of Furniture Connection, Furnish 123 and Ashley Home Furniture of Clarksville, the new store will be 46,400 square feet and will include galleries for Flexsteel, La-Z Boy and Bassett products. There will also be a large indoor/outdoor patio area displaying outdoor furniture.

The new store will employ approximately 35 people, supplying an average salary of $45,000 per year. The location will also include a cafe and a large outdoor patio space capable of accommodating local food trucks.

“We truly want to invest back in our community, so this is very exciting,” said Berggren. “We’ve got some really neat features going into this store.”

Clarksville’s new Furniture Connection will be located on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard behind Ashley Home Store. They are also located at 1891 Fort Campbell Boulevard.
