MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A fund has been established to help a Clarksville family who lost their home in a storm on New Year’s Eve.

No one was injured, but the home on Hickory Grove Blvd. was destroyed when a tree crashed through the roof of the house.

Jesse and Lindsay Tinsley and their two children were home when the tree came through the roof, causing extensive damage.

Tinsley, a member of the Bikers Who Care charity, is getting some assistance from the club.

“We’ve been meeting there to take things out of the house that are worth saving,” said club member Steve Eckart.

The club is also working to secure several watertight enclosed trailers to store the salvaged items.

An account has been established through Planters Bank.

Donors can visit any Clarksville Planters Bank location to make a contribution to the Tinsley Family House Fund.
