FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – The Fort Campbell Army Education Center will host an installation-wide graduation ceremony Friday, July 29 at 1 p.m. at Wilson Theater, located at 93 Screaming Eagle Blvd.

The ceremony is for soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell, family members and civilians with ties to the Fort Campbell community who are within 12 semester hours of graduating or who have graduated from an accredited college or university and cannot attend graduation at their school’s campus.

Often soldiers, and family members are unable to participate in their college or university graduation ceremony due to deployments, permanent change of station moves, cost, or the distance involved. The installation-wide graduation ceremony affords them the opportunity to celebrate their achievement with family, friends, and fellow soldiers.

Currently 62 students from 22 different colleges and universities will be participating. Keynote speaker for the graduation will be Senator Mark Green (R-Clarksville).

Friends and family members of the graduates are invited to attend a reception at the SSG Glenn H. English, Jr., Army Education Center, 202 Bastogne Ave., immediately following the ceremony.
