CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- A former local restaurant owner has been arrested and charged with being in possession of child pornography.
Gregory Robert Shea, 55, is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor (100 +) images. He was booked in the Montgomery County Jail on a $500,000 bond.

According to his arrest warrant, a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigator received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Shea was identified as a suspect for allegedly being in possession of materials depicting minors engaging in sexual activity or child pornographic material.
On December 12, 2019, the investigator executed a search warrant at his home on Strawberry Alley and at the restaurant he formerly owned on Franklin Street.
While executing the search warrant, Shea was interviewed and after being given his Miranda Warning he admitted to ‘having a problem’ and being in possession of child pornographic material. Shea told the investigators there was a phone and an iPad that would have material on it. The devices were located inside his office at his former business establishment.
Following a forensic examination of the two devices, more than 100 images/video files of child pornography was found an iPad. No images were found on his phone.
Shea has a court date scheduled for March 10 in General Sessions court.
