CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – Austin Peay State University football team now has a time for its 2018 season opener at Georgia with the Southeastern Conference announcing its broadcast schedule, Thursday.
The Governors and Bulldogs will open the season with a 2:30 p.m. (CT), Saturday, Sept. 1 contest at Sanford Stadium in a game that will be televised nationally on ESPN. It will be the first-ever meeting between Austin Peay and Georgia, which played in the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
Austin Peay will have a limited number of single game tickets for the Georgia contest available for purchase at a later date. Governors’ fans should continue checking LetsGoPeay.com – the official website of Austin Peay Athletics – for that information once it is officially released.
Season ticket information for the Governors 2018 home schedule, which opens with a Sept. 8 contest against Presbyterian, is now available.
