CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The F&M Bank Arena in downtown Clarksville is continuing to evolve, and the size and shape of the facility’s three main structures is becoming clear.
The facility’s main arena will be a flexible event space that will be able to host hockey or basketball games, concerts, banquets, conventions, trade shows and other events. It will hold approximately 6,000 fans for concerts, or 5,500 for basketball games and 5,000 for hockey.

Booking for events at the arena will be handled by Sabertooth Sports & Entertainment, which is part of the Nashville Predators group. Earlier this year, Kylie Wilkerson was named by SS&E as the first general manager for F&M Bank Arena.
A secondary space will consist of a permanent “community ice” sheet that will be used for youth and adult hockey leagues as well as figure skating.

The third space will be a large full-court practice space for Austin Peay State University men’s and women’s basketball. The coaches’ offices will have windows that overlook the practice court, so they can watch players at work. The facility also includes lockers and training rooms for the programs.
