MIDDLE TENNESSEE – The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a fire weather watch for Middle Tennessee on Thursday.
As temperatures begin to warm up, reaching the 30s and 40s, strong south winds from 10 to 30 mph will move into the area. These conditions, combined with falling humidity levels and cold, dry weather, create a favorable atmosphere for potential fires that develop to grow and spread rapidly.
The fire weather watch is in effect until Thursday afternoon.
