Evelyn Louise Raleigh, age 82, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2022, at NHC of Sparta.
Evelyn was born in Lumberton, NC to the late Jeremiah Jacobs and Rebecca Jacobs. She is also preceded in death by her son, James W. Jacobs.
Mrs. Raleigh is survived by her husband, Darwin Raleigh; daughters, Carol (Richard) Campbell, Annie L. Jones, Carol (Mike) Whaley, and Lisa L. Powell; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Evelyn was a member of Fountain of Life Church and a lifelong lover of music who enjoyed playing her tambourine.
Visitation will be held at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home on Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. of the same day with Rev. Kimberly Robertson Officiating.
