CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW.COM) – Saturday, February 9, is free admission day at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center.

Located in downtown Clarksville, the Customs House Museum is the state’s second largest general museum, featuring over 35,000 square feet of exhibit space, hands-on activities and special events.

Free admission day occurs on the second Saturday of every month.

Explore an entire city block featuring large gallery spaces filled with fine art, science and history. The Explorer’s Gallery is packed with fun, learning and fantasy in McGregor’s Market and kitchen, the toddler play space and of course, the Bubble Cave.

On Sunday, see the model trains as volunteer engineers “ride the rails” from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Customs House Museum at 200 South Second St. is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Museum Members are admitted free.
