CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Empty Bowls Clarksville is returning for its 14th year to support local agencies addressing food insecurity.

The multi-site event will be Feb. 20-26 at churches across Montgomery County where you will be served a meal of soup, bread and dessert, and you will be able to take home a hand-painted ceramic bowl.

Empty Bowls will benefit Loaves and Fishes, Urban Ministries, and the Food Initiative. Each year, all three organizations help provide thousands of meals to struggling individuals and families.

Throughout the year, folks from all walks of life hand paint and donate the bowls. The bowls are a reminder that there are empty bowls in the community and that everyone can do something to help.
