CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – As the Easter holiday draws near, egg hunts and special Holy Week services are coming up across Montgomery County. Here are the major Easter events taking place in the area this year.

Easter events

Ongoing

Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt

  • Where: Governor’s Square Mall
  • When: March 9-April 5
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Pick up scavenger hunt form at Customer Service, then search for 10 hidden eggs throughout the mall. Return the completed form for a prize.

Pictures with the Easter Bunny

  • Where: Governor’s Square Mall, 2801 Wilma Rudolph Blvd.
  • When: March 2-April 5; Monday-Saturday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday from 12-6 p.m.
  • Cost: Not listed
  • Details: Meet the Easter Bunny in Center Court.

Sunday, March 22

Paws & Peeps Pawty

  • Where: Ruff Life Resort, 3224 Highway 41-A South
  • When: March 22, 3-5 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: A dog-friendly egg hunt with snacks for pets and owners. Dogs must be on non-retractable leashes and have up-to-date vaccinations. Free microchipping will be provided by Mikaela’s Mutt Motel.

Easter Bunny Pet Photos

  • Where: Governor’s Square Mall
  • When: March 23, 5-7 p.m.

Friday, March 27

Easter Passion Play

  • Where: Hilldale Baptist Church, 2001 Madison St.
  • When: March 27-28, 7-8:30 p.m. and March 29, 3-4:30 p.m.
  • Cost: Free, but must sign up here.
  • Details: Hilldale’s production “Son of God, Son of Man” features live music, choir and theatrical performances. The March 29 showing will include an ASL interpreter.

Saturday, March 28

Bunny’s Breakfast Bash

  • Where: Dave & Busters, 2801 Wilma Rudolph Blvd.
  • When: Saturday, March 28, 8 a.m.
  • Cost: $36.12 for breakfast and play; $28.61 for breakfast only
  • Details: The Eggstra Fun ticket includes breakfast, a $10 power card, unlimited video game play during the event, photos with the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt. The Brekky Basket ticket includes the banquet style breakfast only. Tickets must be purchased in advance here.

Community Hunt for All

  • Where: 60B Vanleer St.
  • When: Saturday, March 28, 1-4 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Easter Egg hunt with music, free food and haircuts, games, prizes and the Easter Bunny. Hosted by Queens and Kings for the Betterment of Our Community and Clarksville Housing Authority.

Montgomery County Easter Egg Hunt

  • Where: Civitan Park, 650 Bellamy Lane
  • When: March 28, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Features a helicopter egg drop by Austin Peay State University’s Aviation Program and an Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt for all ages and abilities.

Real Life Ft. Campbell Easter Egg Hunt

  • Where: 199 Jack Miller Blvd.
  • When: Saturday, March 28, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Details: Includes face painting, music, crafts and food.

Sunday, March 29

Easter Party

  • Where: We Rock the Spectrum, 549 Neptune Drive, Ste. E
  • When: March 29, 12-2 p.m.
  • Cost: $25 per child; free for monthly members
  • Details: Includes pictures with the Easter Bunny, an egg hunt, egg decorating and open play. Tickets must be purchased here. Monthly members must RSVP with the front desk. Check in begins at 11:30 a.m.

Easter Tea

  • Where: Customs House Museum, 200 South 2nd St.
  • When: March 29, 2-4 p.m.
  • Cost: $39.19 for adults; $55.20 for an adult and child
  • Details: A spring-themed tea with treats and activities. Tickets must be purchased in advance here.

Sango UMC Egg Hunt

  • Where: Sango United Methodist Church, 3301 Sango Road
  • When: Sunday, March 29, 2:30-4:30 p.m.
