CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – State driver’s license services will return to Clarksville City Hall at 8 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14, according to a news release.

The singular walk-up window that offers driver’s license services will reopen, and is located in the lobby of City Hall, at One Public Square downtown. The adjacent windows also provide residents the ability to pay tax bills, City Court fines and parking tickets.

At the window, residents will be able renew or replace non-commercial state driver’s licenses and state identification cards. It does not issue the Real ID card or conduct driver’s testing. Full services are offered by the state at Clarksville Driver Services Center, 220 W. Dunbar Cave Road.

Social distancing guidelines are still in effect at City Hall, and four customers will be allowed in the lobby at a time – two for City Court, and two for Revenue Collections. Wait times may be a bit longer, and customers should wear face masks to enter City Hall, and check in at the security desk for a temperature check.

For more information on other driver services centers and kiosk locations, as well as drivers looking to renew their licenses, order replacements or update personal information may do so at www.tn.gov/safety.
