Dotson C. Suiter, Jr. age 89 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at his home.

Dotson entered this life on March 8, 1932 in Montgomery County, Tenn. to the late Dotson Suiter, Sr. and Ada Mae Rose Suiter. He was a member of Baggett’s Chapel Church of God of Prophecy.

Suiter was a veteran of The National Guard and retired from the Water Treatment Department for the City of Clarksville. Not only was Dotson a Champion Boat Racer, but he also won a National Hydro-Plane Championship. He and his wife had a wood work craft business for many years, and his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Elnora Norfleet Suiter; children, Buddy (Amy) Suiter, Janice (Bobby) Davis and Judy (Jerry) Casey; grandchildren, Shannon Casey, Kevin Casey, David Davis, Mary Beth Bisogno, Kelsey Keaton and Ethan Suiter; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service was held Thursday, May 20, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Bear, Rev. David Mackens and his son, Buddy Suiter officiating. Burial followed at Keesee Cemetery.

His pallbearers were Shannon Casey, Kevin Casey, David Davis, Ethan Suiter, Jerry Casey and Bobby Davis. Honorary Pallbearers were his great-grandchildren.
