Dorothy Louise Bowers, age 85 of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Derek Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021, and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Dorothy entered this life on April 21, 1935, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Luther and Louise Bumpus Byrd. She was a member of Kenwood Baptist and retired from Acme Boot Company.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Thomas Bowers; daughters, Debra K. Bowers, and Brenda Gail Bowers, and brother, Robert Byrd.
Survivors include her children, Mike (Charmaine) Bowers, Terry (Connie) Bowers; sister, Sara Shepherd, and grandchildren, Stephanie Lewis, Chris Bowers, Matt Bowers, Dustin (Catie) Bowers, Joshua Bowers, and Nicole (Chris) Jordan.
