PEGRAM, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Authorities say an owner called police after their dog found human remains in Cheatham County Monday morning.
WKRN News 2 reports that the remains were discovered on Thompson Road.
According to Sheriff Mike Breedlove, other body parts were found in the area. The person’s identity or cause of death was not immediately known. Authorities said the remains are those of an adult.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been called to investigate.
