CUNNINGHAM, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Cunningham Volunteer Fire Department held a Dinner and a Movie event Saturday at Montgomery Central High School. “Super Mario Bros.” was the featured movie with close to 100 guests in the bleachers of the football field.

Shaun Arms, Assistant Chief of the Cunningham Volunteer Fire District, said the event was also a fundraiser for the fire service. Admission to the movie was a donation supporting the fire department with snacks and soft drinks also available.

“We have several food trucks here and we’re going to be watching a movie out on the football field. We’re just trying to get some people out to have a good time, and share our support for the community,” Arms said.

Two of the districts fire trucks were on site at the school with Cunningham Volunteer Firefighters talking to the families, especially the kids, about their work and fire safety.
