CLARKSVILLE, TN – The final event in the community-wide “The Road to 250: America’s Story” celebration has been scheduled as Clarksville continues commemorating America’s semiquincentennial. The concluding event, titled “Parade of American Music: Road to 250,” will feature performances by the Cumberland Winds Concert Band.
The concert will be presented on three dates at different locations:
- June 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Ashland City Assembly of God Church in Ashland City
- June 28 at 4:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church on Madison Street
- July 1 at 7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church
Organizers said the performances will celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary through American music and conclude the two-year community program focused on the history and story of the United States.
